Miami International Art Fair 2011


En la noche de este jueves 13 de enero se celebró el preview, para invitados especiales y coleccionistas, de Miami International Art Fair 2011. La feria se celebra en el Miami Beach Convention Center del 14 al 17 de enero. 

En esta edición de 2011 están presentes más de 70 galerías de unos 12 países y en total se puede apreciar la obra de más de 1200 artistas. 

Les comparto una primera parte del fotoreportaje de Elsa Roberto, que nos muestra la noche previa a la apertura oficial del evento.

Important American & international galleries, collectors and curators gather in exciting Miami Beach January 13-17, 2011 for the 2nd edition of MIA, America’s most exciting mid-winter contemporary art fair. MIA features contemporary art of all media, including photography, installations and video. The fair also integrates innovative educational art projects – linked to important museums and other art-related organizations. An array of vibrant social activities attract collectors from throughout the US, Latin America and Europe.

MIA débuted in 2010 with 80 US and international dealers, drawing more than 17,000 visitors and garnering positive reviews from exhibitors, collectors, curators and press.
