WDNA presents PARODIES: MUSIC FOR VIOLIN, PREAMP, AND SOUND EFFECTS
Alfredo Triff wishes to take the audience through sound passages, where urban music styles (i.e., milonga, blues, bolero, contradanza, timba & reguetón) fade into abstraction for the sake of sonic truth. Parodies are the salt of earth. The listener takes back, not a foregone conclusion, but the subtle whiff of a fleeting emotion in an autumn-like cityscape.
