El llamado presidente de Cuba, Raúl Modesto Castro Ruz, no fue aceptado como huésped en el  Hilton Trinidad and Conference Centre, de Trinidad y Tobago donde asiste a la IV Cumbre Caricom-Cuba. La prohibición impuesta al dictador caribeño tiene como base el embargo comercial de los EUA a la Isla.
